Turtle Finding

4/15/2010 4:40pm by Renae Schlatter

What a beautiful day! I had the opportunity to do some lawn mowing this afternoon. While I was mowing I looked down and saw a tiny little Painter Turtle. So, I brought it in for all to see and get some pictures. We put him next to a quarter to show how small he is.

The cows also really enjoy this weather! The milk is changing color to a nice yellow from the cows eathing the fresh grass which turns into really nice cheese!

It looks like we're in for a beautiful evening.

This is a great feature, Renae! I loved your little turtle, being a great turtle fan from the time I had little guys about this size when I was a kid. Also loved your beautiful mowed lawn and tulips! You folks do such wonderful work; keep it up! Fondly, Judy

We had a turtle like that when the kids were young. He got big - maybe 6 inches long. Then one day he ran away when I was cleaning his terrarium. We never found him!
Too bad you can't let the animals mow the lawn!
